A fanatical collector/creator of samples since the invention of sampling,
Ed Stratton amassed a vast private sound collection and in 1990 had the idea
of creating the world's first dance music 'sample CDs' which featured
thousands of audio samples & loops. Although not intended to be used
commercially (unlike all other Zero-G products, these so-called 'Datafile'
CDs were never sold with a commercial user license and could only be used
'personally' for inspiration) - they became extremely popular.
